Jared Ross is the only player that I can think of who has more career NHL playoff goals than career NHL regular season goals.

No surprise to see Manning get two years. They needed a guy to meet expansion criteria, and now they have one, so they won't be forced to expose Gudas(or Gostisbehere or Del Zotto if they get re-signed before the end of the season).

Schenn's deal is fine. Maybe a bit more cash than I would have liked, but given his production and role, it's pretty much what they could have been expected to have to pay.

It's hilarious because if he signed for under 5 people would be ECSTATIC.

thats really all it is. i was hoping for 4.75 but even so, thats just 375k. that amount won't affect much in terms of cap space at all, wont affect a trade down the road and probably not a FA signing either. Its a minuscule amount of money, just happy its over and done with.

Yeah true. We'll cross that bridge at some point. As for now it's not a sure thing any of the prospects are on the roster in October .

I like the term on Schenn's deal. Cap hit really not a big deal. I just didn't want to see a crazy 6 or 7 year deal for him.

I'm shocked there's not more posts on this Manning thread. I don't want to go overboard....but this may be the best signing of Hextall's tenure.
